Four Marion County baseball players were named to all-state teams yesterday by the Iowa Newspaper Association.

Tyler Hillman was selected to the class 3-A first team as an infielder, while teammate Jaden Rolffs was selected to the 3-A second team as a catcher.

Knoxville’s Jacob Zuck joins Rolffs on the 3-A second team as an outfielder, and Pella Christian’s Will Dembski is a second team infielder in class 2-A.

In related news – Hillman has been selected to play in the Iowa Baseball Coaches Association’s all-star series this weekend in Des Moines. He’ll play on the Large School East team, with action taking place tomorrow through Saturday.

Hillman is just the fourth Pella High representative every selected for the all-star series.
