With their top three threats in the running game coming back, the plan to pound the gridiron is in place for PCM football.

The Mustangs went 9-2 last season and had a fearsome passing attack that included Sheldon Speers and Luke Greiner, but with those two lost to graduation the Mustangs will rely on a running threat that gained over 1800 yards with their top three rushers. Wes Cummings, entering his junior season, was the leader of the ground pack with 1,223 yards and 16 touchdowns, while speedster Noah Anderson had 492 yards and 8 touchdowns, including an 80 yarder. PCM will have a new quarterback under center in Reed Worth who put in plenty of time last season when the Mustangs had big leads, but only threw for 258 yards on the season. The Mustangs will start their season traveling to Pella Christian on August 25th.
