Today we continue the countdown of the Top 10 sports stories of the 2016-2017 school year at PCM High School with number four.

After years of performing well, senior golfer Breanna Maher took her game to the next level in 2017, making it all the way to the state tournament and finishing in 9th place overall in class 3Al. Maher throughout the course of the season would have the ninth best combined course average with a 43.44, and upped her game significantly when she got to the 18 hole rounds where she was fifth best in class 3A with a 82.29. PCM Head Coach Val Edwards told KNIA/KRLS Sports that Maher made a huge impact on the program as a whole with her play. The Mustangs just missed out on qualifying as a team to the state meet, and graduated only Maher from their 2017 squad.
