After starting the season with a 3-0 sweep at the Newton tournament, then falling into some trouble against tough teams in a tournament a West Marshall, the PCM Mustang volleyball team is looking to get back on track tonight in their first non-tournament matchup of the season against Des Moines North.

The Polar Bears are 0-2 on the season, falling to Clarke and Urbandale, and are coming off a 1-27 season back in 2016. Maddie Samson has performed well for the Mustangs this season, leading the team in kills and aces, while tied for the team lead in sets. Action starts tonight in Des Moines at 7:15, with a 9th grade and JV matchup preceding.
