In their first tournament of the fall, the No. 3 Lady Dutch volleyball team went 5-1 and finished bronze in the Bondurant-Farrar invitational Saturday.

Pella lost to the host Lady Jays(15-21, 19-21) to begin the day, but had a clean sweep of Knoxville (21-10, 21-10), Des Moines Roosevelt (21-18, 21-10), Carroll (21-17, 21-12), Waverly-Shell Rock (21-17, 21-18), and Burlington Notre Dame (21-7, 21-10).

The Lady Dutch improve to 6-1 and host Grinnell to kick off Little Hawkeye Conference play on Tuesday.
