A lot is expected from the Melcher-Dallas football squad in 2017. The Saints return nearly everyone from a 4-5 team that may have been one of the most improved teams in eight-man football. The Saints have been in rebuilding mode for the last few seasons, but this year Coach Mike Hortsman tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he can now use the entire playbook and has the athletes to put in key positions when the Saints open up tonight at English Valleys. The Saints had an easy time with English Valleys last year in a 42-12 win.
