Two Pella Players on Early Hawkeyes Two Deep

Three Pella players will be suiting up in the black-and-gold of the Iowa Hawkeye Football team this fall, and two of them are on the early two deep released by

Garrett Jansen, a 2015 Pella grad who is a redshirt sophomore for the Hawkeyes, is listed as a backup defensive tackle, while Noah Clayberg, a 2016 Pella grad who grayshirted last year and is a freshman this fall, is listed as the second string strong safety.

Austin Schulte, who graduated with Clayberg in 2016 and is a redshirt freshman, is also on the team as a defensive lineman.

The three will get their first chance at action this season when the Hawkeyes host Wyoming on September 2nd at Kinnick Stadium.
