The Knoxville Airport’s Annual Fly-In and Drive-In Breakfast will be held this morning.

A biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage breakfast will be served from 7 to 11 a.m. Airport Manager Dan Van Donselaar tells KNIA/KRLS News the event is a neat way to showcase the airport and all that they do. He says it gives people a chance to see things the airport does on a daily basis that most people might not know about. Today’s event will feature airplanes from all over the state as well as Smitty’s inflatables, a ferris wheel and train rides; Mercy One Helicopter tours; Classic Cars, different aviation museum displays, the Knoxville High School FFA Petting Zoo; Knoxville Fire and Rescue, Iowa National Guard, remote control airplanes and pony express pony rides. Cost of the breakfast is $7 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 10 years of age and free for children 5 and under.
