For the 81st time, Knoxville and Pella will meet on the football field. Tonight the stage is Ken Locke Stadium in Knoxville. The Panthers are coming off a 57-37 loss to Carlisle last week in a game that Coach Eric Kellar said played their best game of the year. He adds that kind of effort will be needed tonight against Pella, where he says the Little Dutch throw a lot of running backs on the field. The number seven Little Dutch, fresh off of a shutout of Grinnell, will lean on their defense against the Panthers. Head Coach Jay McKinstrey says they will look to contain Jacob Zuck, Knoxville’s key playmaker. Pella is also hoping to have continued success on offense, after scoring on five of its first six offensive possessions last week. Pella leads the all-time series with 42 wins to Knoxville’s 34 and six ties. Pella has won the last 11 games between the two teams including last year’s 63-0 win. You can hear the call with the Knoxville perspective on AM 1320 and 95.3 with Derek Cardwell and Chris Nichols or the Pella perspective with Andrew Schneider and Randy Sikkema on 92.1 KRLS. Both broadcasts start with pre game at seven and both can be streamed live at
