Recently more than 75 donors, physicians, staff, and friends gathered at the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics for a time of fellowship and donor recognition.

In 2014, KHC embarked on a plan to invest in the physical space. A $15 million investment has helped in improving core service areas of the hospital such as inpatient rooms, the emergency and surgery departments, the clinic and physical therapy.

Even with the $15 million investment in the facilities KHC leadership has embarked on a five to ten year master plan that will allow the hospital to continue caring for and treating current and future generations. The KHC Foundation is currently raising funds for three priorities; expansion of the emergency department ambulance bay and relocation of the helipad, expansion of the orthopedic program, and acquisition of 3D mammography equipment. The total cost for these three projects is $3 million. By investing $3 million, the community will be receiving an $18 million upgrade in health care services.

All donations, regardless of size, are encouraged. Anyone interested in making a contribution or visiting about the naming opportunities available is encouraged to call the KHC Foundation office.
