It is the home opener for the Knoxville Football Squad tonight as Fairfield comes to Ken Locke Stadium. The Panthers are coming off a grinding 13-6 win over Chariton in week one while Fairfield was blown out by Williamsburg 55-7. The Panthers last week were led by quarterback Jacob Zuck with 109 yards rushing and 75 yards passing. Zuck will need to have Zuck at his best tonight and be that dual threat quarterback that he is becoming. Fairfield has a new coach this season and it is a familiar name to Marion County football fans. Matt Jones, who coached Twin Cedars until 2009 is the new headman for the Trojans. You can hear the action on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA and with Derek Cardwell and Chris Nichols with coverage beginning at seven and kick off at 7:30.
