PCM and Knoxville were among 16 ensembles from Class 2A to Class 4A competing, with Pella closing out the night with a performance in exhibition. The Marching Mustangs finished in 2nd place behind Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, and PCM took home trophies for best drumline and best soloist. Knoxville placed in the Class 3A competition with their evening performance.
