Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars will tee it up for the Marion County Eight-Man Championship. While just that makes it a big game, the Saints are still in must-win mode if they want to contend for a playoff spot. Saints Coach Mike Hortsman is a bit worried about his depth after last week’s victory over Meskwaki Settlement. He adds some of his younger players had to step in and play and did very well. Twin Cedars Coach Aaron Allspach says Melcher-Dallas has been improving every time they have played the last few seasons, and hopes his team has what it takes to stop the high-powered Saints. Melcher-Dallas has a 14-9 lead in the series that started in 1990, however the Sabers have won three of the last four games including last year’s 72-24 blowout. Kick-off is scheduled for seven.
