Undefeated Pella Christian heads west to take on Woodward Academy tonight.

While the Knights haven’t won a game yet this year, they scored 32 points in their season opener against Ogden, and again two weeks ago against Mount Ayr.

Eagles’ Assistant Coach Verlan Nikkel says that they’ve prepped their defensive backs for a busy evening.

“I expect to probably throw the ball a little bit more than what they’re going to run it. From what we’ve seen on film and looking at they’re stats, they tend to throw it around a little bit. That’s going to test our secondary, and that’s not a bad thing.”

A note for Eagles fans – the Knights play their home games on Woodward Granger’s field.
