The No. 10 Pella Christian volleyball team had little trouble in sweeping previously-ranked Eddyville-Blakesburg Fremont at home (25-13, 25-16, 25-10) Thursday night.

Wire-to-wire, Pella Christian dominated in all phases–including their serves, in the hour-long match. Eagles Head Coach John Evenhouse says they were able to control most points on the floor and made a big jump from an error-riddled game Tuesday against Oskaloosa.

Pella Christian tallied 15 aces and had 68 of their 72 serves in play. Makenna Van Dyke had four and Bekah Horstman had five aces. The Eagles were a wall at the net, and racked up 15 team blocks as well, with seven including Morgan Fopma.

The Eagles evens their record to 3-3 and continue their homestand Tuesday against cross-town rival Pella.
