Pella Christian and PCM finished fifth and sixth last night in the boys small school division of the Johnston cross-country invitational. In the girls division, the Mustangs were second, while the Eagles didn’t have a team score.

Individually, Pella Christian freshman Emma Kolb shined, finishing second in a time of 20:34.1. Kirsten Ives led PCM with a seventh place finish, while Annaliese Admiraal (14th) of Pella Christian and both Megan Townley (16th) and Klaire Jungling (17th) of PCM were all in the top 20.

The Mustangs’ Jason Stafford was the top finishing local boys runner in 10th, while Nathan Vermeer led Pella Christian in 18th, one spot ahead of PCMs Beau Webb.
