Pella maintained its hold on the top spot in the Little Hawkeye Conference volleyball race with a 3-0 sweep last night at Newton (25-13, 25-20, 25-21).

Emily Holterhaus had a double-double with 19 kills and 15 digs, and she added four digs and two aces. Natalie Clayberg had 13 kills, Cecily Johnson had 13 kills, and Kara Wichhart had 38 assists.

The 2nd-ranked Lady Dutch are 19-2 on the season, 5-0 in the LHC, and will head back to Newton Saturday for a tournament.
