The Nana Jana 5K Fun Run was held Saturday at Dan-D Farms five miles south of Knoxville.

Close to 150 participants took part in the run with another 100 spectators in attendance. The run in its 7th year brings awareness to ovarian cancer. During the run, runners had to manage their way through the Iowa countryside while taking on obstacles such as tractor tires and a mud creek. A meal was also served to everyone in attendance and the KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio was on hand playing music and making announcements.
