Records for heat were broken throughout the state over the last few days, and locally, temperatures tied all-time high marks.

According to the National Weather Service, an observed high on Saturday of 91 tied a record for September 23rd set in 1984. The overnight low Saturday morning of 70 also broke the high mark for the warmest low temperature as well. More mild weather is in the forecast beginning Tuesday, with highs topping out in the low to mid 70s through Wednesday and highs in the upper 60s by next weekend.
