A car stolen from a business parking lot in Knoxville landed a Knoxville woman behind bars.

38-year-old Sara Clarke was arrested Wednesday following a report of a stolen vehicle. According to court documents, at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning the vehicle was left in a parking lot of a Knoxville business awaiting pickup by the owners with the keys left in the ignition. At approximately 2 p.m. the owner had not picked up the vehicle and it was realized that vehicle had been stolen. Just after 3:30 p.m. the vehicle was located headed northbound on Highway T15 driven by Clarke. Clarke was arrested and charged with theft 2nd degree, a class D felony. During the search of Clarke and the vehicle officers located two clear bags which contained a green leafy substance which tested positive for THC as well as a scale that tested positive for methamphetamine residue. Clarke was also charged with driving while barred, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession with intent to deliver.
