On Monday the Knoxville Noon Kiwanis will bring the Missoula Children’s Theatre back to Knoxville as they begin auditions for their presentation of “Gulliver’s Travels.”

The production is for school children in grades K-12. Auditions will begin Monday at 3:45 p.m. with rehearsals starting after auditions and continuing every day through Friday, October 27th from 3:45 to 8:15 p.m. Vice President of the Knoxville Noon Kiwanis, Curt Schwanebeck, tells KNIA/KRLS News the theatre helps bring out hidden talents the children might have. Schwanebeck says some kids show up shy and sort of scared, but by the end of the week they are really showing what they got. He says some kids who participate are bullied in school and the theatre allows them to have a safe place to be themselves. Dress rehearsal will be held at 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 28th. Two performances of the show will begin that same day at noon and again at 3 p.m. Admission is $6 per person.
