The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session tomorrow.

The board will discuss and take possible action on a request from the Marion County Board of Health regarding zoning regulations in the Pershing community area. They will also discuss and take possible action regarding the Marion County Care Facility buildings and grounds operations. The board will hold a public hearing on a proposed zoning ordinance change for a portion of land from agricultural to agricultural residential. Following the public hearing the board will look to approve the first reading of the proposed ordinance while possibly waiving second and third readings. They will consider approval for a federal aid funding agreement as well as approval for regulatory signage for low water crossings. The board will consider a resolution amending the Marion County Treasurer’s depository limits. They will consider a resolution for the Marion County homestead credit application as well as the Marion County military service property tax exemption applications and Marion County disabled veterans homestead credit applications. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and will take place at the Marion County Courthouse.
