Congressman Dave Loebsack made a stop in Knoxville Tuesday.

The congressman spoke at the National Association of Retired Federal Employees meeting at the VFW John Myers Post. Congressman Loebsack tells KNIA/KRLS News he wanted to show appreciation to the former federal employees and thank them for being such hard workers. Congressman Loebsack says he wanted to make sure they are comfortable in their retirement as well as get their input on issues facing the country. Following the congressman’s speech in Knoxville, he made stops at the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group Plant in Ottumwa and went for a ride along with the Fairfield Police Department.
