A Knoxville High School alum recently competed on the TV show Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge which is broadcast on Country Music Television (CMT).

Beth Ripperger, a 2007 graduate of Knoxville High School tells KNIA/KRLS News throughout her life there were different parts where she hasn’t felt fully confident in herself. Ripperger says this opportunity challenged her to get out of her comfort zone and try something new. She says in life people need to challenge themselves and become comfortable with being uncomfortable. Ripperger believes the moments in life she has learned the most are in those uncomfortable situations where she has had to push herself the max.

The Broken Skull Challenge is a reality television competition show hosted by former professional wrestler Steve Austin. Each episode a new group of eight contestants, either all men or all women, visit the “Broken Skull Ranch” to compete in a series of physical challenges. The episode in which Ripperger took part in the competition will air tonight at 9 p.m.
