A Knoxville man was arrested Friday following an incident in which he is alleged to have stolen items from a home in September.

31-year-old Robert Wooldridge of Knoxville was arrested for burglary 3rd degree, a class D felony, after he allegedly broke into a home on September 21st and stole a cell phone, laptop and a watch valued at approximately $800. Upon investigation law enforcement officers spoke with Wooldridge who denied being in the home during the time of the burglary. After speaking to Wooldridge officers were informed by a witness that on September 21st he had been let into the victim’s home by Wooldridge and had reported seeing all lights on in the home and all the kitchen drawers open. Wooldridge was arrested and booked into the Marion County Jail on $5,000 bond with an initial court appearance scheduled for Thursday, November 2nd
