Knoxville took advantage of playing for a winning season and broke open a close game with 21 unanswered points to beat Grinnell last night 34-11. The Panthers and Tigers were in a close game at the half with Knoxville up 13-11. Neither team scored in the third quarter, however, a Jacob Zuck 30 yard touchdown run, a Darius Pipkins 29 yard pass from Zuck and Titius Chapman marched 35 yards for the final score, all in the fourth quarter. Knoxville Coach Eric Kellar told KNIA/KRLS Sports with all the adversity this year for his team…to go five-and-four was a huge accomplishment. Zuck had 311 yards total offense with 183 yards on the ground and 128 through the air, getting him over the 1,000 passing yard mark while Rylan Cox hauled in four passes for 99 yards and a touchdown. Knoxville finishes 2017 with a 5-4 record, the Panthers first winning season since 2015.
