The steps that the Knoxville Volleyball Squad took this season were large and very noticeable. From a four win team a year ago, to 17 wins this season and an undefeated South Central Conference Championship, it was evident that this was a much improved program. The next level for the Panthers to get at is to not just compete with the higher quality teams…but to win those matches. Coach Mollie Keitges tells KNIA/KRLS Sports…that will be the next step in the process. Against Pella in a tournament, the Panthers fell 21/16 and 21/18, and led Union late in the Panther Invitational before falling in two sets. The Panthers finished 17-23 and return nearly everyone from this season’s team.
