Pella Christian jumped out quick, then hung on to beat Van Meter 3-1 last night on the road in the class 2-A volleyball regionals.

The Eagles won the first two sets 25-21 and 25-19, then dropped the third set 25-20. The final set of the night went long, with P-C winning 28-26.

Pella Christian is now 20-15 on the season, and advances to the regional semifinal. They’ll play Pekin, who beat Sigourney 3-0 last night, on Thursday at Pella High School.
