The Pella High girls and Dallas Center-Grimes boys won the Little Hawkeye Conference cross country meets last night at Westwood Golf Course in Newton.

Pella’s girls scored 41 points, well ahead of the 59 scored by DCG. Pella Christian did not have a team score.

The Lady Dutch had a three-four-five finish from Caroline McMartin, Ashley Blommers and Annika Pingel. The Eagles’ Emma Kolb was right behind them in sixth.

In the boys race, the Mustangs scored 40 points, edging Indianola’s 49. Pella tallied 123 and Pella Christian 175 to finish fifth and sixth.

The Little Dutch were led by Thomas Gauley in fifth place, while the Eagles’ Lucas Bandstra was 24th.
