According to official enrollment numbers, the Pella Community School District reported a slight increase in the number of students attending classes.

Superintendent Greg Ebeling says the uptick reflects increasing open enrollees from neighboring communities. Ebeling says their certified enrollment is actually down due to a large graduating class this past May, however, they receive funds for open enrollees from the district where that student lives.

Overall, Pella School District has a similar number of students in the five year trend, with sharp declines reported in 2012-2014, and increases in 2015-17.
