Hosting their first round regional matchup tonight, the Pleasantville Trojan volleyball team will take on Pride of Iowa Conference rival Martensdale-St. Mary’s.

The Trojans come in with a 5-13 overall record in the regular season, and won their season finale against Clarke 3-1, but having already fallen to the Blue Devils twice this season with a combined set score over two games 5-0. Sophomore Sam Entinger leads the Trojans in kills this season and is tied with three other girls for the team lead in sets, and will have to improve her numbers against Martensdale, as she had only five kills in the five games in the regular season. Action starts tonight in Pleasantville at 7pm.
