The annual “Treats in the Trunk” event was held Saturday. Organizations from Knoxville filled the Knoxville city parking lot to hand out candy to children.

The event allows the children of Knoxville a chance to show off their Halloween costumes while trick or treating in safe environment. The KNIA/KRLS “Lil” Big Red Radio was on hand playing music, making announcements and handing out candy. The first 100 children who attended the event also received a free pumpkin.
