The 2017 Knoxville Street Improvements Project has been underway since mid-September with improvements being made to Robinson Street.

Knoxville City Manager Aaron Adams tells KNIA/KRLS News work has been delayed a few days due to the recent rain Knoxville has received. Adams says if mother nature cooperates Robinson Street could be back open and in use by next Wednesday, October 25th. Adams says the second phase of the project includes Jackson street east of Highway 14 as well as additional blocks of Robinson street which he says could see construction this year but more than likely will begin in the spring of 2018.
