The Rotary Foundation and Rotary Club of Knoxville recognized the work of Habitat for Humanity of Marion County with a grant check for $10,000 on Monday.

Director of Habitat for Humanity of Marion County, Robin Pfalzgraf tells KNIA/KRLS News the money will is a huge help to the current build project on north Kent Street in Knoxville. President of the Knoxville Rotary Club, T. Waldmann-Williams tells KNIA/KRLS News rotary doesn’t just give money to Habitat for Humanity, the club also donates time and helps work on Habitat for Humanity homes. She says everyone in Rotary and everyone who has participated in Rotary fundraisers are a part of giving this money. Waldmann-Williams says Rotary works to serve its community and the world in a collaborative manner. Like Habitat for Humanity, they enter into partnerships to help serve around the world. She says they are glad they can help serve to economically develop the Knoxville community.
