The Knoxville High School Band will have a busy day Saturday.

The band will be heading to two competitions on the same day. President of the Knoxville Music Boosters Shannen Cahill tells KNIA/KRLS News the bands will first head to Pella for a competition at 1:40 p.m. before packing everything up and heading to Ankeny for another competition there at 6:40 p.m. She says it seems like a lot of time between the competitions but when the band has to pack everything up and get the kids organized it really isn’t much time at all. Cahill says the day will be exhausting but fun for band members and she invites the Knoxville community to come out and support the band and see the improvements they have been making this fall.

The Pella Marching Dutch and PCM Marching Mustangs will take part in both competitions Saturday as well.
