It is championship night for the South Central Conference Cross Country members…and the Knoxville girls look to win another title. The Panthers have been solid throughout the season led many times this season by senior Ashley Cumpton. Along with Cumpton, Mickayla McGill, Bree Burton… Emery Neer, Abbey Jackson, Charlie Vermeer, and Tori Dye have finished ahead of all South Central Conference teams in the last two meets. On the boys side, Splavec says Jordan Bacon has been a very consistent runner… but it is still finding out who will step up in the other positions. Splavec adds the goal tonight is to sweep the conference titles.
