Today is the final day to select the 12 finalists that will have the opportunity to become the 2018 Tulip Queen.

Twenty-five high school seniors from Pella and Pella Christian High School have accepted nominations, and voting ends today for residents to select the group that will perform at the annual Tulip Queen’s Announcement Party on Saturday, November 11th. Ballots are available in last week’s local papers, and need to be submitted by 5 p.m. at the Pella Hy-Vee, Fareway, and Pella Historical Society. Tune in tomorrow to hear who the 12 Tulip Queen finalists will be, and for live coverage of the Tulip Queen Announcement Party on 92.1 KRLS.

Tulip Time Steering Committee Member Lori Laurens says the Tulip Queen and Royal Court will represent the community throughout the state of Iowa this spring and encourage visitors to come to the 83rd annual Tulip Time festival May 3-5th.
