It was a split decision for the Marion County eight-man teams last night. Twin Cedars roared out of the gates to a 52-0 lead and cruised to a 64-30 win over Seymour last night. The Sabers got 327 total yards from Nick Haselhuhn as he passed for 206 yards and ran for another 121 to lead Twin Cedars. His favorite receiver was Colton Hughes, who caught three passes for 144 yards and three touchdowns. Twin Cedars is now four-and-four and has a tough task for its final game of the season next week against H-L-V. If Twin Cedars was smiling, Melcher-Dallas was frowning after its loss to district leader H-L-V as the Saints fell to the Warriors 65-20. While the loss does not eliminate the Saints from playoff contention…they would have to knock off Moravia and have some help getting in next week.
