In their senior seasons and seeing their first major minutes on the varsity squad, the Pleasantville Trojan middle linebacking pair of Evan Mann and Tathan Clark have come up big for the Trojan defense, leading the squad in tackles.

Neither Mann or Clark are physically imposing, with Mann being 5’11 and 207lbs, and Clark being just 5’6 and 148lbs, but the pair are tops on the Trojans tackle list with 56 and 63 respectively. The pair also came up big in the playoff win against West Branch last Friday, coming up with 15 tackles combined, and will have to bring the same effort against Pella Christian this Friday with a trip to the dome on the line. In the 31-14 loss to the Eagles in week 7 the pair got 10 total tackles, but were a part of the defense that allowed Eagles running back Noah Treimer to get 166 yards rushing. Action this Friday of Pleasantville at Pella Christian can be heard live on AM 1320 and FM 95.3 KNIA for the Eagle perspective, and our KNIA3 stream for the Pleasantville side. Pregame starts at 6:30pm for both broadcasts.
