Marion County residents interested in becoming a beekeeper will have the opportunity to start their journey this January.

“Beginning Beekeeping Classes” will be held at the Marion County Extension Office starting on January 25th, 2018. Classes will last for 8 weeks and are scheduled in the evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Classes will cover topics like why people should become beekeepers, getting started, challenges and rewards, plans for building equipment and much more.
