Board of Supervisors to hold Public Hearing Regarding Property Transfer Today

The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.

The board will consider a resolution for the renewal of a liquor license for the Red Rock Quick Stop near Pella. They will hold a public hearing to discuss the transfer of Marion County property located at 314 east Robinson Street to the Baty Tucker Post 168 of the American Legion. The board will hold discussions regarding Marion County Law Library resource requirements, Marion County Care Facility buildings and grounds operations, a property nuisance abatement for 1352 92nd Avenue in Knoxville, as well as a discussion about the definition of “dwelling” pertaining to county ordinances. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and will be held at the Marion County Courthouse.
