After a stellar high school career and two years spent at Southeastern Community College, former Pleasantville standout Zeb Adreon has signed to play baseball and be a Hawkeye at the University of Iowa.

Adreon hit .362 last season and was tops in the nation with 29 doubles, the second most in school history at Southeastern. Adreon drove in 56 runs and was named Second Team All Region. During the Regional Tournament, Zeb hit .500, recording two hits in every game except for one. During his high school career, Zeb led the Trojans to two straight state tournament appearances, including the state championship game in his junior campaign. The Hawkeyes went 39-22 and made it to the NCAA Regionals round of the national tournament.
