Four cross country runners from Marion County were a part of the Iowa Association of Track Coaches Senior All-Star Event on Saturday. For the girls, Pella’s Erica Halstead placed 27th with a time of 21:09, while Knoxville’s Ashley Cumpton placed 41st with a time of 22:12. Runners were divided into East vs. West with the East getting a win 17-44. On the boys side, Thomas Gauley of Pella finished 29th in a time of 17:12, Josh Paulse of Pleasantville was 43rd in a time of 17:53. The West won over the East 27-30, all Marion County runners were on the East Team.
