With the most kids out in several years for Knoxville Boys Basketball, Coach Jeff Larson and his staff will have no shortage of bodies for all three high school levels of competition. The job is to set his rosters by opening night on November 28th. Larson attributes the high number of players out this season to recent success the Panthers have had. Larson will look to seniors Ben Wallace, Patrick Crawford, and Jacob Zuck to lead the team. With Zuck, who as a junior had very limited playing time, Larson says is a totally different player and hopes his season on the football field gives him the confidence he needs for basketball season.
