After graduating two of their top three point shooters, the Pleasantville Trojan girls basketball team will look to improve in that area coming up this season.

Morgan Thorpe and Abbie McVay shot a combined total of 42 of the 81 three point shots from last season, and Kelsee Van Haalen makes up another 22 of those while shooting 27.5% from long range. After battling injuries, Corinne Thomas and Madyson Thill shot the ball better at the end of the season as they averaged 4.8 and 2.3 points per game respectively. Head Coach Aaron Fichter told KNIA/KRLS sports, that he is looking for the Trojans role players to contribute from beyond the arc. Pleasantville will start their season against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont on November 21st.
