For the first time under head coach Aaron Fichter’s tenure, the majority of the players on the Pleasantville Trojan girls basketball team will not be a freshman or a sophomore, as the team returns 11 juniors and seniors from a 7-16 squad in 2015-16.

Returning for the team from last year will be the top three leading scorers lead by Kelsee Van Haalen at 13.6 points per game, and leading rebounder Jordan Dursky who had 141 boards. Head Coach Aaron Fichter told KNIA/KRLS Sports, that it will be a good thing for his team to see so much experience coming back. The Trojans get their season started on November 21st against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.
