With PCM boys basketball team’s overtime loss to South Hamilton two weeks ago, the Heart of Iowa Conference race began to get a little closer as the holiday break split the season.

The Hawks are undefeated at 6-0, while PCM and Greene County are both 5-1 heading into 2018, with the Rams only loss coming to the Mustangs. On the girls side, Nevada has been the clear front-runner from start to finish while PCM sits in the middle of the pack with a 3-3 record, tied with Gilbert and behind Roland-Story, North Polk, and the undefeated Cubs. The PCM basketball teams will get back to action on January 4th in Alleman to take on the Comets of North Polk.
