The Knoxville Basketball Squads will travel to Centerville tonight as the girls look to keep the pressure on South Central Conference leader Chariton. Knoxville is coming off a big win over Eddyville on Friday night that vaulted the Panthers into sole possession of second place in the conference. The Big Reds are coming off a loss to Clarke on Friday by 17 points. Panthers Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS Sports, it may be a battle of freshmen guards as Centerville has a ninth grader who has emerged as one of its main players. The boys are looking to get out of a mini rut they have found themselves in as the Panthers have lost their last two games. Coach Jeff Larson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he wants his players to come focused tonight and ready to play.
