Six Champions Gives Knoxville Wrestlers Team Runner-Up At Own Invitational

PCM Wrestlers Compete at Ankeny Centennial

The PCM Wrestling team went 3-2 at the Ankeny Centennial Duals tournament. The Mustangs losses were to a pair of class 3A division teams in the hosts Centennial and Dubuque Hempstead, while they took down class 3A Carlisle, 3A DCG, and 2A ranked #2 Ballard.

Central Women Extend Streak, Men Fall to Ranked Foe

A balanced-scoring attack propelled the Central College women’s basketball team to an 81-64 victory over Iowa Wesleyan Saturday afternoon in Pella, and an upset bid was denied in St. Louis as the Dutch men lost to No. 11 Washington University 87-83.

Pedestrian Hit in Bussey

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle shortly before 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening. Bussey Fire and Rescue, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and the Iowa State Patrol responded. No one was immediately transported from the scene.
