A tough week ends on a high note for the PCM basketball teams, as they swept Greene County last night with the girls winning 59-46 and the boys 72-62.

Regan Freland filled up the stat sheet for the Lady Mustangs, with 29 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals as the Mustangs got up early 18-11 after 1 and never looked back keeping that 7 point lead at 42-35 heading into the third. Cameron Wignall also had a great night offensively and defensively, with 16 points and 5 steals, while Morgan Uhlenhopp had 12 rebounds.

On the boys side, PCM was down 23-14 after the first and 34-290 at halftime despite hitting 6 shots from beyond the arc. The Mustangs continued their hot shooting, and took advantage of their depth to run the Rams out in the second half. Jackson Thomas broke out of his scoring shell, as he was red-hot from the field scoring 21 points, while sophomore Jason Stafford had one of his best career games with 13 points.

The girls are now 3-3 on the season, the boys move to 4-0, and both teams will next play conference rivals Nevada on Tuesday.
